I haven’t got to work today… There’s 4 or more inches of snow and the council hasn’t grit the roads. I left the house and nearly hit a car and I’m bloody terrified of driving in snow now.

Some people got into work but I’ve spoken to a couple of people in my department and it’s not safe out there. I may be able to get to work (in the end) but how am I supposed to get home? It’s still snowing!

I haven’t seen snow this thick here, I live in South West England and usually it’s the North East and Scotland who get this weather so I’m not used to it.

Beautiful and dangerous but it’s given me a day off work and I’m not going in! I’ve never taken a sick day so this is my reward!



Anyway, it's pretty and I'm tired so I'm going to have a nap now!
